Role Overview
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports relationship managers in Global Corporate and Investment Banking client coverage.
The role provides proactive portfolio, client planning, transaction, risk, KYC, compliance, and reporting support.
Responsibilities
- Assist relationship managers with coverage of an assigned client portfolio.
- Support daily portfolio management in line with business strategy, account plans, and internal policies.
- Prepare client presentations for proactive pitching and support account planning, including wallet analysis.
- Support new-client targeting and strategies to deepen existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with credit, product, compliance, industry, and sector stakeholders.
- Identify relevant portfolio risk factors and early warning indicators.
- Assist with documentation and transaction execution.
- Coordinate with KYC and onboarding teams to maintain compliance.
- Prepare internal management information reports.
Desired Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant or MBA from a premier institute.
- Five to eight years of experience in corporate and investment banking.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk; prior credit analysis experience is helpful.
- Ability to prepare high-quality presentations and financial models.
- Sound knowledge of banking products.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
