Job Summary
Support the Senior Manager, Warehouse in achieving business-unit goals and overseeing warehouse operations at the YVR branch.
Oversee shipping, receiving, storage, inventory, workforce planning, training, and daily work assignments.
Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate warehouse and distribution operations and ensure daily activities follow company policies and procedures.
- Supervise freight receipt, handling, distribution, storage, and timely shipment of production orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions, records, reports, and warehouse documentation.
- Communicate with clients and ensure vendors and suppliers meet company requirements.
Safety and Compliance
- Enforce security, safety, housekeeping, and pest-control policies.
- Identify hazards, report injuries or accidents, and recommend safety improvements.
- Ensure pharmaceutical and temperature-controlled products are handled according to applicable SOPs and COPs.
- Keep related records and vendor-system reports current and compliant.
People and Reporting
- Participate in recruitment and selection of qualified team members.
