- Support the Warehouse Manager in day to day management of the warehouse
- Assist with supervision, training, and motivation of the warehouse team
- Oversee accurate receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods
- Monitor workflow and allocate resources to meet targets and deadlines
- Help implement best practices for warehouse safety, organization, and operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve queries collaboratively
- Carry out regular checks of warehouse equipment and facilities
- Promote a strong focus on health and safety
- Support regular safety briefings, risk assessments, and compliance checks
- Assist with regular stock takes, audits, and investigation of inventory discrepancies
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and contribute to continuous improvement
- Support adoption and effective use of warehouse management and inventory control systems
Requirements
- Experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or logistics environment
- Some supervisory or team leader responsibility preferred
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to prioritize workloads
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, health and safety, and inventory management best practices
- Natural leadership qualities: approachable, communicative, and able to motivate others
- Competent IT and data entry skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Right to work in the UK

- As an Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will support the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations across all aspects of the warehouse.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Warehouse Manager in day to day management of the warehouse.

- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, health and safety, and inventory management best practices.
- Natural leadership qualities: approachable, communicative, and able to motivate others.
- Competent IT and data entry skills, with experience using stock management systems or handheld scanners advantageous.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and working in a hands on, fast paced environment.
