About the Role
BAYARA is hiring an Assistant Trade Marketing Manager to supervise day-to-day trade marketing operations, support key account management, plan promotional activities, and monitor competition.

Responsibilities
- Supervise day to day operations of Trade Marketing to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Support KAM to ensure all Distributor agreements are renewed by presenting previous year's results and current year sales plan
- Carry out quarterly business review with KAM and distributors to ensure targets are on track
- Plan monthly promotional/trade activities with KAM by recommending promotional agreements
- Implement marketing activities in each channel by discussing with brand team volume, visibility, timing and price
- Monitor quarterly price index / monthly promo index and recommend adjustments
- Carry out monthly visits to distributors/stores to ensure smooth execution of promotional activities
- Monitor competition activities and report new product/packaging requirements to brand managers
- Train and coach distributor team to ensure they are motivated and capable
Requirements
- Experience in trade marketing and distributor management
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities
- Supervises the day to day operations of Trade Marketing to ensure work processes are implemented as designed and comply with policies
- Support KAM to ensure all Distributor agreements are renewed by the start of the year by presenting previous year's results and current year sales plan
- Carry out quarterly business review with KAM & distributors by presenting previous quarterly sales results
- Plan monthly promotional/trade activities with KAM by recommending promotional agreements forms with customers
- Implement marketing activities in each channel by discussing with brand team volume, visibility, timing and price
- Monitor quarterly price index / monthly promo index & recommend adjustments to maximize volume vs margin output
- Carry out monthly visits to distributors/stores in different territories to ensure smooth execution of promotional activities
- Monitor competition activities (inno/reno/promo) and report new product/packaging requirements to brand managers
- Train & coach distributor team in order to ensure they are motivated & capable of performing their roles
