Ensuring all direct and indirect reports follow laid down policies and procedures regarding Health & Safety, Security and Quality, Hygiene & Food Safety standards
Effectively maintaining food and non-food raw materials, whilst achieving food cost % targets.
Effectively balancing labour cost % against targets, with the needs of the business.
Meeting standards as per approved OKRs and SLAs.
Role Holder liaises regularly with the Operations Manager and other internal and external stakeholders, providing information and advice relevant to the areas of accountability.
Interfaces with the Food Production and/or Pastry & Bakery teams to ensure internal and external deadlines are met in servicing Manal clients.
Interfaces with the Support Services teams to ensure internal and external deadlines are met in servicing Manal clients.
Actively supports the Operations Manager and other internal and external stakeholders, in the monitoring, maintaining, and scheduling of all work processes.
Ensuring all tasks are completed on time and in full across Stores, or Logistics and Transport.
Supports the Operations Manager in ensuring that all the information, requirements and expectations of work processes are clearly communicated to department personnel.
Ensure all direct and indirect reports complete their mandatory training courses.
Develop direct and indirect reports through the annual performance appraisal system.
Assists the GM in all reasonable requests in the absence of the Operations Manager.
To identify allergen – cross contamination and implementation of control measures to reduce/ eliminate the risk.
Always working safely to protect self and others around you, reporting all unsafe conditions and acts, and immediately reporting all accidents and incidents to your supervisor.
Ensure safe storage and handling of materials.
Implement safe lifting and material handling practices.
Maintain proper warehouse safety conditions.
Promote worker participation and consultation.
