Job Summary
The Royal Stables Private Members Club in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support exceptional dining experiences for members and guests.
The role works with the Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, develop the team, and maintain personalized service, quality, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining consistently high service standards.
- Lead the team during service through direction, coaching, and hands-on operational support.
- Build member relationships, recognize preferences, and provide personalized dining experiences.
- Manage member feedback and service recovery with appropriate follow-up.
- Coordinate with culinary, beverage, and operational teams for seamless service delivery.
- Support workforce planning, reservations, table utilization, inventory, and operational readiness.
- Contribute to revenue growth through upselling, cost awareness, productivity, and resource management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, licensing, and Club standards.
Desired Skills and Competencies
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality, food and beverage management, or a related field is preferred.
- 4–6 years of restaurant or food and beverage experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Experience in private members clubs, luxury dining, or premium hospitality environments is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team coaching skills with a hands-on approach.
- Refined member engagement, communication, service recovery, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Good commercial awareness covering revenue, cost control, and operational performance.
- Adaptable, composed, detail-oriented, and committed to service excellence.
