- Support the Resident Engineer with daily field engineering and supervision, including constructability reviews and monitoring work in progress
- Review drawings and specifications for revision compliance; coordinate with design disciplines to ensure compliant execution
- Provide first level QA by reviewing contractor submittals, verifying compliance with plans, specifications, standards and resolving technical issues
- Ensure required tests and inspections are carried out, witnessed, documented and supervise inspection staff as required
- Track project progress and schedule performance, prepare reports and updates for the Resident Engineer
- Monitor material procurement and deliveries; maintain supplier data, technical catalogs and project records
- Maintain daily logs, discipline turnover records; coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, enforce HSE requirements and hazard controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with equivalency certificate
- 8–10 years experience in construction supervision and delivery of roads, utilities and general infrastructure works
- ADM/DMT practice license / approval
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authorities’ regulations and approvals process
- Excellent site coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supervising structural works (e.g., pedestrian/cyclist bridges) is an advantage
- PMP certification and proficiency in AutoCAD or similar engineering software

Overview
- Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Resident Engineer – Civil (Roads & Utilities) to join our construction supervision team in Abu Dhabi.
- In this role, you will support the delivery of key civil infrastructure works, including pedestrian bridges, roadworks, utilities, parking areas and ramps.
- The position requires strong site coordination skills, quality oversight, and the ability to contribute effectively to client facing project delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
