- Support the Resident Engineer with daily field engineering and supervision, including constructability reviews and monitoring work progress
- Review drawings and specifications for revision compliance; coordinate with design disciplines
- Provide first level QA by reviewing contractor submittals, verifying compliance with plans and specifications
- Ensure required tests and inspections are carried out, witnessed, documented; supervise inspection staff
- Track project progress and schedule performance; prepare reports for the Resident Engineer
- Monitor material procurement and deliveries; maintain supplier data and project records
- Maintain daily logs, discipline turnover records; coordinate with contractors and stakeholders; enforce HSE requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with equivalency certificate
- 8–10 years experience in construction supervision of roads, utilities, and infrastructure works
- ADM/DMT practice license/approval
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authorities' regulations and approvals process
- Excellent site coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer – Civil (Roads & Utilities) to join the construction supervision team in Abu Dhabi. The role supports delivery of key civil infrastructure works including roadworks and utilities, requiring strong site coordination, quality oversight, and client
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the Resident Engineer with daily field engineering and supervision, including constructability reviews and monitoring work in progress
- Review drawings and specifications for revision compliance; coordinate with design disciplines
- Provide first level QA by reviewing contractor submittals, verifying compliance with plans, specifications, standards and resolving technical issues
- Ensure required tests and inspections are carried out, witnessed, documented and supervise inspection staff
- Track project progress and schedule performance, prepare reports and updates for the Resident Engineer
- Monitor material procurement and deliveries; maintain supplier data, technical catalogs and project records
- Maintain daily logs, discipline turnover records; coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, enforce HSE requirements and hazard controls
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with equivalency certificate
- 8–10 years experience in construction supervision and delivery of roads, utilities and general infrastructure works
- ADM/DMT practice license / approval
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authorities’ regulations and approvals process
- Excellent site coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar engineering and design software/tools
- PMP certification will be an advantage
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance Specifications and Statistical Quality Control
