Responsibilities
- Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising construction of roads and infrastructure works
- Act in place of the Resident Engineer when on leave or absent
- Coordinate direct activities with other engineers and construction supervision team
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings, design proposals, method statements and correspondence
- Coordinate with Parsons' design engineers for resolution of related issues
- Maintain daily diary and daily reports by inspectors
- Coordinate with contractor engineers on scheduling and application of resources
- Direct, assist and monitor performance of inspectors and surveyors
- Convene and chair special meetings with service authorities, contractor, subcontractors
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of records
- Ensure safety goals are achieved and oversee implementation of safety procedures
- Prepare or assist in preparation of Weekly and Monthly progress reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design, site supervision, and construction management of road and infrastructure projects
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience managing supervision activities on large scale infrastructure projects within Abu Dhabi
- Ability to review and justify material submissions, analyze laboratory and technical reports
- Sound knowledge about contractual relationships
- Fully computer literate and able to use project specific engineering and construction software
- Fluent in English written and spoken with excellent technical writing skills
- Must be available in UAE

Job Description
