- Perform detailed engineering analysis and calculations for marine systems, propulsion systems, and structural components
- Gather, correlate, and analyze marine engineering data from various sources
- Develop and review technical drawings and specifications using CAD software and marine design tools
- Conduct routine and detailed engineering assessments involving marine systems testing and performance evaluation
- Propose innovative approaches to solve complex marine engineering problems
- Identify discrepancies in engineering results and recommend corrective actions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Manage assigned engineering tasks within agreed upon budgets and schedules
- Independently complete primary design elements and technical documentation for marine engineering works
- Ensure all work complies with maritime regulations, international standards, and organizational quality requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- 4+ years of professional experience in marine engineering, vessel design, or related maritime projects
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in CAD software and marine design tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates

Job Description
- We are seeking experienced Marine Engineers ARE to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
- You will take on significant portions of marine engineering projects, applying technical expertise to design, develop, and optimize marine systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed engineering analysis and calculations for marine systems, propulsion systems, and structural components.
- Gather, correlate, and analyze marine engineering data from various sources.
- Develop and review technical drawings and specifications using CAD software and marine design tools.
- Conduct routine and detailed engineering assessments involving marine systems testing and performance evaluation.
- Propose innovative approaches to solve complex marine engineering problems.
- Identify discrepancies in engineering results and recommend corrective actions.

- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 4+ years of professional experience in marine engineering, vessel design, or related maritime projects.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software and marine design tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent certification.
- Advanced knowledge of marine propulsion systems, hydrodynamics, and vessel performance.
- Experience with maritime regulatory compliance and international marine standards.
- Proficiency in GIS and specialized marine engineering software.
- Project management experience on marine or offshore projects.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Willingness to travel for project site visits and client meetings.
