Principal Duties and Accountability

  • Using appropriate technological resources to collect, store, analyse and report on student feedback
  • Effective liaison with student representatives and members of staff
  • Keeping formal minutes of meeting; circulating and following up on actions arising from meetings
  • Preparing regular and ad hoc reports on student feedback processes and outcomes
  • Assisting the Institutional Planning and Quality Office in administration of the University's student feedback systems
  • Preparing accurate and relevant information for internal and external reporting (regular and ad hoc)
  • Supporting the Quality Manager in preparing periodic submissions for KHDA and MoHESR for approval of new provision and renewal of existing academic programmes
  • Completing reports and documentation required by University level committees
  • Tracking and analysing trends; and monitoring continuous improvements in relation to non financial metrics
  • Supporting the development of Educational Monitoring and Enhancement (EME) reports at departmental level and the campus wide report
  • Supporting a range of strategic and operational plans and compiling progress reports

General Responsibilities

  • Communicating effectively and regularly with faculty members, students, central services and Student Offices in Dubai and London
  • Promoting and maintaining safety in the work place
  • Participate in and contribute to the work of various project groups and quality improvement teams, as required
  • Participate in relevant staff development activities and develop new skills and competencies
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as requested by University management
