Role Overview
Assistant Purchaser supporting procurement activities from requisition through delivery.
Coordinates with operations, stores, finance, and other departments on purchasing needs.
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, service, and reliability.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and support contract discussions with suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and address quality or delivery issues.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and procurement efficiency improvements.
- Prepare procurement reports, purchasing analyses, and supplier evaluations.
- Assist with procurement strategies supporting business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and approved budgets.
Compensation
- Pay ranges from AED 1,400 to AED 1,800 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
