Role Overview
Support the Finance and Accounting function by maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
Help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of accounting activities.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts, monitor banking transactions, investigate discrepancies, and record transactions accurately.
- Process supplier invoices and payments, reconcile supplier statements, and maintain supplier records.
- Process employee expense claims, cash transactions, rechargeable invoices, and client billing records.
- Assist with month-end accounting, invoice posting, outstanding transaction reviews, and time adjustments.
- Respond to accounting and payment inquiries from employees, suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Process cheque payments, bank transfers, deposits, and other authorized payment requests.
- Maintain organized supporting documentation for accounting transactions and audits.
- Provide support across other day-to-day accounting functions as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with employees, suppliers, clients, and other departments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Ability to organize and maintain accounting documentation for review and audit purposes.
