Mandarin Oriental, Doha is seeking an Assistant People and Culture Manager to join its People and Culture team.

The role supports and strengthens the People and Culture Department in alignment with the group's culture and vision.

Duties

  • Complete weekly filing and keep colleague records up to date.
  • Administer internal transfers and personnel procedures for starters, transfers, promotions, variations, and leavers.
  • Coordinate with Finance on personnel procedures and salary-related administration.
  • Maintain casual colleague records in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Administer colleague benefits and conduct monthly and yearly personnel file audits.
  • Prepare monthly starter, promotion, transfer, and leaver lists for Payroll, Security, and IT&T.
  • Prepare the outstanding probation list for the People and Culture Manager.
  • Conduct screening interviews and coordinate recruitment activities with division heads.
  • Manage requisitions, recruitment reports, vacancy updates, new-hire status, contracts, and agency relationships.
  • Coordinate new-hire arrival matters, visa updates, flight pick-up, and flight tickets.

Candidate Expectations

  • Minimum two years of experience working in a five-star hotel environment.
  • At least one year of experience with a recognized multinational brand is preferred.
  • International experience with GCC and/or Doha is preferred.
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication.
  • Ability to work with multicultural teams.
