Assistant Manager - Technology Procurement

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Procurement
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including RFP preparation, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization related to technology goods and services
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal standards, and quality requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technology procurement needs and deliver solutions within agreed timelines and budgets
• Vendor and Contract Management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology suppliers, monitoring performance against agreed service levels and contractual terms
• Conduct regular vendor assessments and manage supplier compliance to ensure optimal service quality
• Address and resolve any vendor-related issues promptly to minimize business disruption
• Budgeting and Reporting
• Monitor procurement spend and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to technology procurement
• Prepare and present comprehensive procurement reports reflecting costs, savings, vendor performance, and contract status
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement best practices to improve procurement efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technology procurement or supply chain management, preferably in large-scale projects or corporate environments
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT, or related discipline; advanced degrees or professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM) are advantageous
• Proven expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, and procurement processes
• Familiarity with procurement management software such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Understanding of local market regulations and business culture in Saudi Arabia is preferred
