Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and plan end-to-end Group VAT and excise compliance processes for UAE entities on a monthly basis.
• Support the Direct and Indirect Tax Managers in addressing ad hoc tax queries from business stakeholders.
• Assist on excise product registrations and application of digital tax stamps
• Support VAT group administration activities, including reconciliations, forecasting, and accounting postings.
• Ensure readiness for tax audits (Indirect and Direct Tax) and support during audits and assessments.
• Transfer Pricing - Assistance with TP margin analysis and Local files completion
• Corporate Tax – Assist the Corporate Tax manager in computation of intercompany recharges on a quarterly basis
• Corporate Tax – Assist the Corporate Tax manager in Group tax computations on a quarterly basis
• Participate in special tax projects, including VAT refund claims, automation initiatives, e-invoicing implementation, and process improvements.
• Support the administration and monitoring of Tax SOX compliance controls.
• Act as a liaison between finance teams, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Support leadership in embedding strong governance and compliance culture

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification or actively testing for such a qualification.
• Proven experience in tax compliance and reporting.
• UAE experience of 3 – 5 years
• Strong knowledge of VAT and Excise tax regulations in the UAE.
• Basic knowledge of Transfer Pricing

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and tax/reporting tools
• Hands-on experience in managing the tax compliance processes.
• Ability to learn and adapt to evolving tax regulations and best practices.
• Handling multiple Tax projects at the same time
• Should have working knowledge of FTA portal for VAT, excise and corporate tax.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in

• Transfer pricing experience is desirable
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
