About the Role
To support implementation and execution of plant security operations across the Copper Manufacturing Complex by ensuring protection of personnel, assets, raw materials, finished goods, infrastructure, and critical installations. The role is responsible for maintaining round-the-clock security vigilance, access control, surveillance monitoring, contractor security management, and emergency response coordination.

Responsibilities
- Security Operations Access Control & Visitor Management Material Security Surveillance & Control Room Monitoring Incident Management Emergency Response Contractor Security Management Compliance & Governance Stakeholder Coordination
- Ensure effective deployment and supervision of security manpower across plant gates, process areas, warehouses, township, and critical installations.
- Monitor site security operations on a 24x7 basis through field surveillance and control room coordination.
- Conduct routine security inspections, patrols, and audits across the complex.
- Ensure compliance with security SOPs, policies, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor employee, contractor, and visitor entry-exit management systems.
- Ensure compliance with gate pass procedures and vehicle movement protocols.
- Prevent unauthorized access to restricted and sensitive operational areas.
- Monitor inward and outward movement of raw materials, copper cathodes, anodes, scrap, precious metals, consumables, and finished goods.
- Conduct security verification for dispatches, inventories, and warehouse operations.
- Minimize material pilferage, theft, fraud, and security breaches.
- Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, boom barriers, and perimeter security infrastructure.
- Investigate security alerts and abnormal incidents.
- Coordinate corrective actions and escalation for identified threats.
- Investigate security violations, theft attempts, material losses, and unauthorized activities.
- Prepare incident reports and security findings.
- Support root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
- Act as security coordinator during emergencies such as fire, industrial incidents, natural disasters, and crisis situations.
- Coordinate with Fire & Safety teams, local administration, and law enforcement agencies.
- Participate in mock drills and emergency preparedness exercises.
- Verify contractor manpower deployment and compliance with security protocols.
- Ensure contractor vehicle and equipment movement controls.
- Conduct security awareness sessions for contractors and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with Factories Act requirements and organizational security standards.
- Maintain security records, logs, investigation reports, and audit documents.
- Support internal and external security audits.
- Liaise with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, HR, Administration, Logistics, Commercial, and Safety teams.
- Coordinate with CISF, Police, Customs, Intelligence Agencies, and Port Authorities wherever applicable.

Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Preferred: Diploma/Degree in Security Management, Industrial Security, Defence Studies, Criminology, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Industrial Security, focus on in Industrial security operations, Access control System, CCTV & Surveillance Management, Material Security & Loss Prevention, Incident Investigation, Security Audits & Compliance, Risk Assessment & Threat Analysis, Emergency & Crisis Management, Contractor Security Management, Security Documentation & Reporting etc
