About the Function
Supply Chain and Manufacturing supports the production, movement, and delivery of the company's brands.
The function operates across more than 100 sites and includes production, logistics, engineering, and supplier partnerships.
Experience and Qualification
- The role requires 4-7 years of relevant experience in alcoholic beverages, beverages, or FMCG bottling.
- The role requires a BE or B.Tech qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure high equipment availability and minimum breakdown through effective maintenance practices.
- Conduct daily maintenance reviews, monitor equipment performance, and close critical concerns.
- Drive preventive maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and maintenance standards.
- Apply bottling, blending, utilities, and racking or material handling knowledge.
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions for chronic issues.
- Drive Kaizen, automation, mechanization, and equipment improvement initiatives.
- Support engineering projects, machine modifications, installation, and commissioning.
- Use hands-on mechanical expertise across assembly, pumps, valves, conveyors, pneumatics, and equipment maintenance.
- Develop local vendors for fabrication, spares, services, and in-house solutions.
