Role Overview
The Assistant Manager is part of the KFC store leadership team.
The role supports the day-to-day management and operation of the unit and colleagues.
The position is based at Thurrock Services, M25 Junction 30/31, Grays.
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop the team to deliver KFC standards and exceptional customer service.
- Drive sales, manage the unit budget and P&L, and control costs.
- Deliver brand standards, health and safety, and recruitment activities.
- Report issues, progress, and overall performance to the Restaurant Manager.
- Drive consistent, high-quality customer service.
Skills and Knowledge
- Have an emerging track record managing and leading teams in a high-volume retail or catering brand environment.
- Understand how to maximize profit by driving sales and controlling costs.
- Build strong and positive stakeholder relationships.
- Adhere to and ensure delivery of brand standards.
- Manage tasks efficiently and productively.
- Relevant backgrounds may include shift manager, team leader, duty manager, assistant manager, or deputy manager.
