Assistant Manager - HR (Generalist) – Arabic Speaker

Job Summary

Hr Operations & Administration

• Manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple group companies/entities
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and internal HR policies
• Handle employee lifecycle management including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and documentation
• Support payroll inputs, leave management, attendance monitoring, and employee benefits administration
• Coordinate visa, labour card, Emirates ID, and employee documentation processes in coordination with PRO/Admin teams

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Support manpower planning and recruitment activities across business units
• Coordinate sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer management
• Work closely with department heads to fulfill hiring requirements efficiently
• Ensure proper onboarding and induction for new employees

Employee Relations

• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, warning letters, and HR investigations
• Promote employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture improvements
• Support employee welfare programs and retention strategies

Performance Management

• Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems across the group
• Monitor probation reviews, annual appraisals, and development plans
• Support succession planning and talent development initiatives

Policies, Compliance & Reporting

• Develop, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks
• Ensure HR practices align with group governance standards
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and management presentations
• Support internal audits and compliance reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• HR certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent will be an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 6–8 years of HR Generalist experience
• Minimum 2–3 years in an Assistant HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist role
• Mandatory experience working within Group Companies / Holding Companies / Multi-Entity Organizations
• Strong exposure to UAE labor law and HR best practices
• Experience across industries is preferred (Corporate, Services, Facilities Management, Contracting, Trading, etc.)

Language

• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) – Mandatory

Skills

• Strong understanding of HR operations and employee relations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
• Strong reporting, analytical, and organizational skills
• Experience using HRMS systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-business environment

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Arabic Speaker
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period preferred
• Experience handling HR across multiple subsidiaries/entities is highly desirable
• Strong business partnering approach with leadership exposure
