- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure effective coordination with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations, assessing their impact and driving necessary changes within the organization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group accounting function to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Mentor and develop accounting professionals within the group, fostering a high performance culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in group accounting, with significant leadership experience in a similar role
- Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidation, and regulatory compliance requirements
