- Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements for management review.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret financial data for decision-making.
- Develop and maintain management reports and dashboards.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring internal financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support payroll, VAT, and statutory compliance.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Monitor financial performance including revenues, expenses, and variances.
- Support working capital and cash flow management.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support Cost control
- Support financial planning for short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Provide financial insights to improve operational and departmental efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders including auditors and banks.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior accountants and finance staff to improve their technical knowledge, productivity, and professional development.
Qualification And Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certification (ACCA/CPA/CA/CMA) preferred or in progress.
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, or supervisory finance role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and reporting.
- Proficient in financial systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
