- Manage and coordinate all aspects of external audit engagements including planning, execution, and reporting
- Allocate resources, assign tasks to audit team members, and oversee their work
- Review audit workpapers, documentation, and findings for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive audit plans
- Perform detailed examinations of financial statements to assess accuracy and compliance
- Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting
- Prepare and review audit reports, management letters, and other communications
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide value added insights
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to audit staff
Requirements
- Qualified member of ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent professional certification
- 6+ years of external auditing experience, preferably with a public accounting firm
- Thorough understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements (IFRS, IAS, ISAs)
- Proficiency in audit software tools (particularly Caseware) and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership abilities in leading audit engagements and managing teams

Job Description
- We are hiring experienced AM External Auditor for Affiniax Office in JLT, Dubai
Key Responsibilities
- Lead External Audit Engagements: Manage and coordinate all aspects of external audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting
- Allocate resources effectively, assign tasks to audit team members, and oversee their work
- Review audit workpapers, documentation, and audit findings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Risk Assessment and Audit Planning: Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive audit plans
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations, industry dynamics, and regulatory environment
- Determine materiality thresholds, audit scope, and sampling methodologies
- Financial Statement Audits: Perform detailed examinations of financial statements
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting
- Document and communicate audit findings to management and audit committees
- Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Perform audit procedures to verify compliance with RERA, ADGM and DIFC requirements
- Prepare and review audit reports, management letters, and other communications
- Assist clients in addressing regulatory inquiries and implementing remediation plans
Job Requirements
- Qualified member of ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent professional certification
- 6+ years’ experience in external auditing, preferably with a public accounting firm
- Thorough understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements (IFRS, IAS, ISAs)
- Proficiency in audit software tools (particularly Caseware), data analytics, and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership abilities in leading audit engagements and managing teams
- Commitment to upholding professional ethics, integrity, and independence
