Role Overview
The Assistant Manager - Electrical is an individual contributor reporting to the DGM - Production and Maintenance.
The role is based in Bengaluru and focuses on electrical control panel inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and basic programming.
Core Responsibilities
- Read electrical control panel schematics, wiring diagrams, and general arrangement drawings.
- Verify wiring and component installation against approved drawings.
- Inspect electrical control panels visually and dimensionally.
- Verify component installation, wiring, ferruling, and labeling against specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Perform continuity, insulation resistance, loop, and functional testing.
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing.
- Troubleshoot wiring, component, and control circuit issues.
- Maintain testing records and reports.
- Assist with PLC and HMI programming, configuration, and testing.
