Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Laboratory Technician in Abu Dhabi.
The Assistant Laboratory Technician will perform daily tasks such as operating laboratory equipment, conducting quality control tests, analyzing samples, and supporting research and development activities.
Collaboration with team members and adherence to laboratory safety protocols and standards will be key components of this position.
The technician will also assist in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the laboratory environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Strong quality control and analytical skills
- Hands-on experience with fundamental laboratory techniques and tasks
- Ability to support laboratory technicians and contribute to research processes
- Attention to detail and a commitment to following safety and operational protocols
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Laboratory Technology, or a related field is a plus
- Previous experience in the oil and gas or chemical industry is an advantage
