Overview
To support the Inventory Controller in maintaining optimum spare parts stock levels, ensuring high stock turnover, and enabling smooth supply chain operations across PDC and branch locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining efficient spare parts stock levels at PDC and branch locations.
- Prepare Sea, Air, and Daily orders using DMS and SOQ calculation sheets; follow up until shipment receipt.
- Place Daily/VOR orders based on workshop and customer requirements.
- Update and maintain accurate Parts Master Data in DMS (supersession, campaigns, abnormal demand, accessories, tools, etc.).
- Monitor back orders and update Parts Advisors on order status.
- Control and coordinate parts transfers between branches.
- Assist warehouse staff with perpetual inventory activities.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for incoming/outgoing shipments and documentation.
- Follow up on GRNs and ensure documentation is submitted to Accounts on time.
- Process supplier discrepancy claims and follow up for credit notes.
- Coordinate insurance claims for transit-damaged stock.
- Analyze stock aging reports and support corrective actions with Parts Manager.
- Reconcile principal account statements and coordinate payments with Accounts.
- Support development of effective ordering strategies for cost control and optimal order mix.
- Update the National Parts Manager on Purchases vs. Targets performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
