Job Purpose
Advance Khalifa University’s research, education, and innovation in robotics and artificial intelligence through high-impact scholarship, teaching, graduate supervision, and academic leadership.
About the Role
The Department of Computer and Information Engineering invites applications for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor positions.
Faculty will contribute to research and education in robotics and AI, including AI for robotics, robotic autonomy, and intelligent autonomous robotic systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct internationally recognized research in robotics and artificial intelligence.
- Publish in leading peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Secure, manage, and deliver funded research projects.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in robotics, including robotic systems, AI for robotics, mapping, and localization.
- Supervise graduate students in line with academic rank and experience.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovation in university education.
- Support collaboration, entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and innovation activities.
- Participate in departmental, college, and university service as appropriate.
