Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Assistant Director of Sales to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will partner with the Director of Sales to drive revenue growth, expand client base, and establish our organization as a market leader.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies.
  • Lead and mentor sales team members, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
  • Identify emerging business trends, market opportunities, and competitive insights.
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts while actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and present detailed sales proposals and action plans.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and budget allocation in collaboration with revenue management.
  • Organize and execute strategic sales trips and client familiarization events.
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with government authorities, tourism boards, and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, revenue targets, and KPIs.
  • Participate actively in industry forums, trade shows, and business functions.
  • Oversee online distribution channels and manage relationships with third party partners.
  • Support the events and operations teams by identifying synergies.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Sales, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in sales management or assistant director capacity, or 3 years progressive sales experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budget management, and revenue forecasting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Leadership experience with ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • Proficiency in market analysis, competitive positioning, and sales forecasting.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
