Overview
- Assist the Head Chef / Main Cook in daily kitchen operations
- Support in cleaning, cutting, marinating, and preparing seafood (fish, prawns, crabs, etc.)
- Maintain proper hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Ensure kitchen equipment and workstations are clean and organized
- Help in basic cooking tasks such as frying, grilling, and plating
- Monitor stock levels and inform the chef about shortages
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries properly
- Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Support during peak hours to ensure timely service
- Comply with UAE food safety regulations and kitchen policies
