Overview
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and provide menu recommendations, especially seafood specialties.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Handle billing, invoicing, and cash/card payments using POS systems.
- Ensure proper cash handling, daily cash closing, and reconciliation.
- Supervise daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth service flow.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, cashier counter, and service stations.
- Train and guide junior staff (waiters/assistants) when required.
- Monitor stock levels of service items (cutlery, napkins, packaging, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company standards.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
