The Assistant Bookstore Manager is a full-time, 12-month administrative staff position reporting to the Director of Union Services and Administration.
This position is primarily located at the Senatobia Campus and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Oxford and Southaven campus bookstores.
The Manager will develop and manage e-commerce operations, and support after-hours events as needed.
The Assistant Bookstore Manager provides leadership and direction to Bookstore Clerks, identifies emerging trends and best practices in collegiate and independent retail environments, and helps ensure efficient and customer-focused bookstore operations.
The position requires strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with initiative, creativity, and self-motivation.
Evening, weekend, and extended hours may be required to support departmental needs and campus events.
