- Assist in planning and execution of banquet events according to client requirements and company standards
- Coordinate event setup, service, and breakdown activities
- Ensure banquet rooms are prepared according to event orders and specifications
- Monitor event progress and address operational issues promptly
- Supervise banquet staff during events and daily operations
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Conduct pre event briefings to communicate event details and service expectations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to guest requests professionally
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently
- Liaise with kitchen, stewarding, housekeeping, engineering, and sales teams
- Review banquet event orders (BEOs) and communicate requirements to relevant departments
- Monitor banquet labor costs and operational expenses
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in banquet operations, food & beverage service, or event management
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Customer focused mindset with problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Knowledge of banquet service standards and event operations
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospitality management systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
