• Support the Corporate Finance Accountant to maintain the financial records of the UK management company in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring integrity and compliance with MG Group accounting policies. This includes the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts in accordance with the accounting and reporting timetable. • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled each month, providing balance sheet reconciliations for review. • Work with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure that any queries are investigated and resolved in the following period. • Ownership of all bank reconciliations. • On a monthly basis review the trial balance and reallocate costs as required. • Review and approval of all prepayments and accruals via Workday integration events. • Completion of the preparation and submission of VAT returns. • Ownership of all Other staff cost allocations, e.g. staff expenses • To be the main point of contact on all charges/income between other ManCo and SiteCo. • Support the Accounts Receivable team with monthly invoicing for all McArthurGlen entities in respect of recharge and fee income, ensuring all income is correctly recorded in the financial records, is billed in a timely manner, and that invoices are settled within terms. • Working with functional Business Partners to review the allocation of costs for all invoices received in the UK Management Company. • Participate in the year end audit process and be able to answer queries and substantiate balances to the external auditors. • Maintaining the daily cashflow for the UK Management Company. • Assist with the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes for the UK Management Company. • To carry out ad-hoc exercises as requested by the Corporate Finance Accountant. • Ensuring reporting to relevant authorities such as Office of National Statistics is prepared as required. • Be part of the Services Co centre of excellence, and work with the wider team on any project or other deliverables from a global perspective. • All employees have a responsibility to comply with McArthurGlen Health, Safety and Sustainability policies.
