Position Overview
The Asset Protection Partner protects store assets against theft and works with the leadership team to maintain operational controls that reduce shortage.
The position is a regular full-time role at the ON-Hillcrest store in North York, Ontario.
Loss Prevention Duties
- Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to clients as needed.
- Conduct sales-floor and CCTV surveillance to identify, observe, deter, or apprehend individuals committing external theft.
- Follow all laws and SEPHORA policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
- Prepare reports for theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
- Testify in court on behalf of the company when summoned in criminal or civil cases.
- Provide new-hire and continuous employee training to maintain store loss prevention awareness.
Operations Duties
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections and communicate findings to store leadership and the District Loss Prevention Manager.
- Assist store leadership with inventory preparation and processes.
- Partner with stores and the District Loss Prevention Manager to develop and execute shrinkage prevention plans.
