As an Operator & Maintainer to the Australian Federal and NSW Governments, Parklife Metro is leading a transformative metro project connecting St Marys to Bradfield and the new Western Sydney Airport.

The Parklife Metro (PLM) consortium, comprising Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, is delivering the Stations, Systems, Trains and Operations & Maintenance (SSTOM) package for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project.

RDWSA will proudly operate and maintain six new stations, 12 metro trains, core rail systems, and a state-of-the-art stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills for 15 years following commencement of operations.

Reporting functionally to the O&M Readiness Director and Defect Manager, the Asset Engineer – Track & Civil Structures will play a key role in supporting the safe and successful transition of track and civil assets from project delivery into operations and maintenance.

Working closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations and Commercial teams, you will support defect management, testing and commissioning, asset acceptance, operational readiness and handover activities.

You will provide technical assurance to ensure track and civil infrastructure is safe, compliant, maintainable and ready for passenger service.

• Provide O&M and maintainability input into track and civil design reviews, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), and asset acceptance activities.
• Support the governance, assessment and close-out of defects, non-conformances and incomplete works.
• Participate in inspections, walkdowns, testing, commissioning and technical reviews across stations, track corridors, tunnels, elevated structures and maintenance facilities.
• Review asset handover packages, including as-built documentation, warranties, inspection reports, maintenance documentation and asset data.
