About the Role

- Align subsidiaries and functions on common AI priorities, standards, and funding assumptions
- Oversee execution of all AI projects from inception to deployment, chairing a virtual AI task force
- Define baselines, benefits owners, and benefits realization tracking cadence to ensure ROI
- Run a structured intake and prioritization process to build a pipeline of AI use cases
- Lead cultural and organizational change efforts for AI adoption, including communication and training
- Work with IT governance, risk, and compliance teams to enforce responsible AI use
- Serve as primary liaison with external technology providers (Microsoft, Oracle, specialized AI vendors)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum 8 10 years experience in technology or digital transformation roles
- At least 3 years experience leading AI initiatives
- Proven experience managing AI/ML or data analytics projects
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, HCM), cloud platforms, and AI tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Oracle AI, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Experience in UAE/GCC region preferred

Role Summary
- The AI Program Manager leads enterprise wide AI adoption, driving internal and customer transformations across IT, HR, Finance, and other functions.
- This strategic role is embedded within Group IT and owns the AI adoption roadmap, portfolio governance, and value tracking.
AI Strategy & Leadership
- Own and continuously refine the group wide AI strategy and phased implementation roadmap.
- Align subsidiaries and functions on common AI priorities, standards, and funding assumptions.
- Oversee execution of all AI projects from inception to deployment, chairing a virtual AI task force.
- Define baselines, benefits owners, and benefits realization tracking cadence to ensure ROI.
- Clarify decision authority across functions to remove blockers and accelerate execution.
- Report quarterly progress, KPI performance, and key risks to GCTO and executive leadership.
AI Innovation & Product Development
- Run a structured intake and prioritization process to build a pipeline of AI use cases.
- Deliver proofs of value and scaled releases with defined success metrics.
- Coordinate cross functional delivery plans to ensure solutions are integrated and supported.
AI Adoption, Change & Enablement
- Lead cultural and organizational change efforts for AI adoption, creating communication plans and training sessions.
- Execute an adoption plan for each AI release to drive sustained usage.
- Define adoption KPIs and publish a monthly dashboard for leadership.
- Build and run an AI champions network with quarterly enablement sessions.
AI Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Work with IT governance, risk, and compliance teams to enforce responsible AI use.
- Establish and enforce AI governance frameworks ensuring compliance with data privacy and ethical standards.
- Partner with cybersecurity, legal, and data owners to define risk controls for AI solutions.
- Ensure all AI projects undergo risk and bias assessment and establish guidelines for human oversight.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as primary liaison with external technology providers (Microsoft, Oracle, specialized AI vendors).
- Evaluate new AI tools and services, stay informed about product roadmaps, and run proof of concepts.
- Manage ongoing partner performance through SLAs, value realization tracking, and quarterly business reviews.
Qualifications & Certifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 8 10 years experience in technology or digital transformation roles, with at least 3 years leading AI initiatives.
- Proven experience in managing AI/ML or data analytics projects.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, HCM), cloud platforms, and AI tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Oracle AI, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Experience in UAE/GCC region is preferred.
