About the Role

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or graduated within past two years from undergraduate, graduate, or PhD programme, preferably in international development
- Exposure to political and ethical discussions about AI and expressed interest in AI
- Proficiency in at least one of UNICEF's working languages: English, French or Spanish and fluent in the working language of the office of assignment
- Strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records
- No immediate relatives working in any UNICEF office
- At least 18 years old

How can you make a difference?
- Support work on compiling current models of UNICEF engagement with GCC governments on AI.
- Research potential models for further engagement covering governance, convening, evidence, piloting, scaling, and resource mobilisation.
- Support use of AI in humanitarian settings while safeguarding children's best interests.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Study the UNICEF AI strategy and prepare a presentation to partners.

Minimum Requirements
