Role Overview
Responsible for sales and distribution targets in an assigned area.
Leads field sales teams consisting of supervisors, van salesmen, and merchandisers.
Builds customer and distributor relationships to drive market share and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the area's sales plan.
- Manage field teams, assign targets, and monitor performance.
- Plan van sales routes and schedules for effective market coverage.
- Monitor stock loading, reconciliation, cash collection, and policy compliance.
- Oversee merchandising standards across customer outlets.
- Analyze sales and market performance and report to senior management.
- Track competitors and recommend corrective action plans.
- Manage the operating budget and control expenses.
- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and logistics teams.
- Train, coach, and develop field personnel.
- Follow up on customer and distributor collections and credit-term compliance.
