Role Overview
Area Manager – Soft Services responsible for cleaning operations, teams, service standards, and client delivery.
The role includes operational coordination, supplier follow-up, reporting, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-time cleaning operatives while maintaining standards, aesthetics, and operational continuity.
- Review scopes of work, estimates, budgets, and schedules against costs and timelines.
- Organize workloads and distribute work effectively.
- Identify client requirements through regular meetings and site visits.
- Coordinate with departments, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Ensure cleaning teams meet client standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Address operational issues and client complaints with Contract Managers and Administrators.
- Prepare reports and maintain records in line with ISO and BICSc standards.
- Support operations, procurement coordination, and supplier follow-up.
- Maintain client relationships and customer service levels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Facilities Management or Hospitality Management.
- 5–6 years of relevant industry experience with supervisory experience.
