Area Manager

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the sales performance of stores within the assigned area.
• Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profitability targets.
• Monitor store KPIs including sales, conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, and productivity.
• Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Develop and implement action plans for underperforming stores.
• Ensure effective execution of promotions, campaigns, new product launches, and commercial initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour and provide relevant feedback to management.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail stores.
• Ensure stores comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Conduct regular store visits and operational audits.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels, attendance, scheduling, and workforce deployment.
• Monitor stock availability, stock movement, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant retail experience, with proven experience managing multiple stores or locations.
• Experience in luxury retail, perfumes, beauty, cosmetics, fashion, jewellery, or lifestyle retail is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing retail KPIs.
• Strong experience in people management, coaching, and team development.
• Experience managing Store Managers and large frontline retail teams.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, customer service, and visual merchandising.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-store retail environment.

Language Requirements

• Arabic language is mandatory.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, retail teams, mall management, and internal stakeholders in both Arabic and English.

• The role requires regular travel between stores within the assigned area.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and extended retail hours may be required based on business needs.
