Role Overview
IRTH Group is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to translate design concepts into architectural drawings and construction documentation.
The role supports projects from initial sketches through construction documentation while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate CAD drawings, plans, and details that meet design specifications and local regulations.
- Assist architects and project teams with design concepts and architectural coordination.
- Revise drawings based on stakeholder feedback and document all changes.
- Prepare technical drawings for building permits and local authority submissions.
- Maintain drawing registers and organized project documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to integrate project components.
- Keep current with industry trends, materials, and technologies.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- At least seven years of draftsman experience in an architectural firm or consultancy.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other 3D modeling software is also requested.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
