Architectural Design Manager Qatar Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Architectural Design Manager to join our team!
In this role, you will lead the planning, design, and technical execution of various architectural projects, ensuring excellence, safety, and quality from concept to completion.
What You'll Be Doing Direct the planning, design, and implementation of regional architectural projects, including commercial, infrastructure, and transportation facilities, working with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide technical oversight and mentorship to architectural staff, promoting high-quality outcomes, professional growth, and knowledge sharing.
Ensure all projects meet design excellence, technical standards, fire and life safety requirements, and applicable regulatory codes and guidelines.
Monitor the quality and progress of the architectural discipline on each project, ensuring that production requirements and deadlines are satisfied.
Work closely with Project Managers to resolve any existing or forecasted issues related to discipline staffing, quality of work, schedule performance, or productivity.
Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets, delivering results on time and within budget while maintaining design integrity and compliance.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels, including temporary personnel as needed, and prepare staff forecasts to support project and business needs.
Establish and maintain standards and procedures manuals for the architectural discipline, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Act as the primary architectural liaison between clients and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining strong communication throughout all project phases.
Guide projects from initial concept through construction, ensuring seamless transitions, coordinated documentation, and successful delivery.
Resolve complex design and technical challenges, providing innovative and practical solutions to meet client objectives and authority requirements.
Champion collaborative teamwork and foster a positive, professional working environment across all project disciplines.
What Required Skills You'll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. 20 years of related experience, including supervisory and managerial experience.
Internationally recognized professional architectural license.
UPDA Registration for Architecture and Qatar Civil Defense approval, or eligibility and ability to obtain the registration within 6 months of onboarding.
