Parsons is looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator to add to our Commercial and Contracts team in Abu Dhabi.

In this role you will get to perform pre and post contract and commercial activities typical to the engineering and construction industry in the UAE.

This is a varied role that may be required to be located either in our head office in Abu Dhabi with the requirement to visit sites or be based on site on a full-time basis depending on the needs of the business.

Having flexibility to react to the business needs is essential to be successful in this role.

This is a mid-level Contracts role that requires appropriately skilled and experienced people to be able to work autonomously and support projects that require commercial and contractual support or work from our head office on variations, EOT’s, claims, payments, procurement, tendering etc.

This role would suit a seasoned internationally experienced QS or a Senior QS who is ready to step up on the path to becoming a Commercial Manager.

This is not a traditional measurement QS role.

• Supporting Clients in the procurement of their Contractors, Consultants, Designers etc. This may involve preparing and reviewing tender documents and managing Parsons internal resource to prepare technical information to the required standard.
• Managing downstream procurement for Subconsultants procured directly for Parsons, working with the internal Parsons procurement team to ensure the Parsons procurement process is managed and adhered to accordingly.
