Arborist

2 years’ experience trimming/ pruning trees in a residential setting.

Valid Class 5 driver’s license with less than 6 demerits; air brakes endorsement is considered an asset.

Applicant must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Valid First-Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.

Ability to work as part of a team in physically demanding environments.

Motivated to learn independently and from team members, with strong time management skills.

Proficiency in operating and maintaining tools and equipment.

Comfortable working in noisy environments with proper PPE.

Willingness to work long hours, overtime, and participate in on-call rotations during emergencies.

Basic knowledge of trees, including identification and growth habits would be considered an asset.
