- Advising clients on dispute strategy, risk, and enforcement across the MENA region.
- Drafting pleadings, memorials, submissions, and other complex arbitration documentation.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships and contributing to the firm's regional business development.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
Requirements
- Current title of counsel or partner at a GAR 100 ranked firm or recognised equivalent
- Strong track record in international commercial arbitration, investor state disputes, or both
- UAE or broader MENA experience preferred
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Fluent English essential; Arabic an advantage
- Entrepreneurial mindset and appetite for regional market development

Role Overview
- We are working with a highly regarded international law firm on a confidential search for an experienced international arbitration practitioner at counsel or partner level.
- The firm is recognised in the GAR 100 and operates a leading disputes practice with a significant UAE and broader MENA presence.
- They are seeking a senior practitioner to join their UAE office and contribute to a high calibre international arbitration team.
Typical Duties
- Managing and leading complex international arbitration proceedings from inception through to award.
- Advising clients on dispute strategy, risk, and enforcement across the MENA region.
- Drafting pleadings, memorials, submissions, and other complex arbitration documentation.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships and contributing to the firm's regional business development.

Candidate Profile
- A current title of counsel or partner at a GAR 100 ranked firm or recognised equivalent.
- A strong track record in international commercial arbitration, investor state disputes, or both.
- UAE or broader MENA experience preferred, though not essential.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Fluent English essential; Arabic an advantage.
