Role overview
Own and run application security across MedHealth as a hands-on technical lead.
Operate and continuously improve an established AppSec capability across multiple applications and development teams.
Embed effective security practices, tooling, and processes into development workflows while maintaining delivery alignment.
Key responsibilities
- Own application security across the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and assess application security risks and partner with engineering teams on remediation.
- Perform secure code reviews, primarily for .NET applications, and support secure development practices.
- Lead threat modelling and security assessments across applications and automation workflows.
- Tailor security practices to different team maturity levels while balancing uplift, standardisation, and delivery needs.
- Own and optimise SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling across CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage vulnerability visibility, prioritisation, and reporting.
- Define secure design and development standards.
- Establish Security Champions across development teams.
- Mentor developers and improve secure coding capability across teams.
