API Technical Lead

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical work experience.

Proven experience as an API Platform Engineer, Integration Engineer, or similar role, with 7–10 years of experience in a development, engineering, or technical lead capacity.

Strong experience in designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs across on-premises, SaaS, cloud, and hybrid ecosystems.

Proven expertise in end-to-end API lifecycle delivery, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, publishing, and support of enterprise APIs.

Solid understanding of API platform engineering, API gateways, API management, and enterprise integration patterns.

Experience implementing scalable, secure, and reusable API solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, API security, authentication and authorization mechanisms, and service governance.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
