- Design, build, and modernize semantic layers to enable self service analytics, AI, and cross platform reporting.
- Design and develop data rich applications that blend standard software (Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, or similar) with open source technologies (e.g., Streamlit).
- Facilitate design and requirements sessions with business and technical teams, translating insights into actionable data models and technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize data models using SQL, Python, or other relevant languages.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to ensure data quality, usability, and alignment with business goals.
- Implement best practices for data integration, governance, and analytics enablement.
- Contribute to the delivery of integrated analytics experiences, moving beyond traditional dashboards to deliver holistic, user centric solutions.
- Stay current with emerging tools and techniques in analytics engineering, AI, and data platforms.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Python
- Experience with semantic layer tools and analytics platforms (e.g., dbt, Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Sigma)
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics solution design
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Fluency in whiteboarding and design solutions for data mapping and user experience requirements
- Exposure to or interest in AI/ML integration and modern data architectures
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Compensation
- Consultant: $85,000 $115,000 base salary.
- Senior Consultant: $100,000 $135,000 base salary.
- Potential for 8 10% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
