About the Role
American Iron & Metal seeks a Business Performance Analyst to improve operational efficiency and cost performance across the Quebec recycling network. You will analyze KPIs, develop dashboards, and identify optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze operational performance indicators related to costs, productivity, efficiency, and service levels
- Perform variance analysis on operational and logistics costs and forecasts, identifying key drivers and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI
- Consolidate and validate data related to production, inventory flows, and transport movements to ensure reliable reporting
- Identify performance gaps in operations and logistics flows, and provide analyses supporting corrective action plans
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and monitor improvements post implementation
- Work in partnership with site managers and operational teams to improve production efficiency, asset utilization, processing times, and cost management
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and cost optimization
- Provide support for ad hoc projects by supplying data related to operational performance and efficiency of the Quebec Recycling network
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain, business administration, engineering, finance, or related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in operations analysis, industrial performance monitoring, logistics, or similar role
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, or multi site environment is an asset
- Good understanding of operational cost structures and performance drivers, including logistics components
- Demonstrated experience in KPI tracking, variance analysis, and performance reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data structuring); experience with Power BI or similar BI tool is an asset
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to transform data into business recommendations and concrete actions
- Attention to detail and strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Proactive and autonomous, able to work in a dynamic operational environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingualism (French and English)
