Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics related to cost, productivity, efficiency and service levels
- Conduct variance analysis on operational and logistics costs and forecast, identifying key drivers and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring performance reports using Excel and Power BI
- Consolidate and validate data related to production, inventory flows, and transportation movements
- Identify performance gaps across operations and logistics flows and provide analysis to support corrective action plans
- Partner with site managers and operational teams to improve production efficiency, asset utilization, turnaround times, and cost management
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and cost optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in operations, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in operations analysis, industrial performance monitoring, logistics, or a related analytical role
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data structuring)
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Bilingual (French and English)

- Reporting to the Business Performance Specialist, the Business Performance Analyst plays a key role in improving operational efficiency and cost performance across Quebec Recycling.
What you’re responsible for
- Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics related to cost, productivity, efficiency and service levels.
- Conduct variance analysis on operational and logistics costs and forecast, identifying key drivers and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring performance reports using Excel and Power BI.
- Consolidate and validate data related to production, inventory flows, and transportation movements.
- Identify performance gaps across operations and logistics flows and provide analysis to support corrective action plans.
- Work with stakeholders to implement and track post implementation improvement.
- Partner with site managers and operational teams to improve production efficiency, asset utilization, turnaround times, and cost management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide analytical support for ad hoc projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in operations, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in operations analysis, industrial performance monitoring, logistics, or a related analytical role.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, or asset intensive, multi site environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of operational cost structures and performance drivers.
- Proven experience in KPI monitoring, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is an asset.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proactive and autonomous.
- Strong communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Bilingual (French and English).
